Don’t Think Dallas is For You? Think Again!

Dallas City Night LifeEvery state has a city that never sleeps, or so it seems. Dallas, Texas is no exception to the rule. There are songs written about it, artwork centered on it, and even a TV show named after it! But what makes this area a great place to live in isn’t the build up by the media; it’s the eclectic variety of neighborhoods that make up the city as a whole, providing everyone with a wonderful place to call home, no matter their lifestyle or income.

The most common areas thought of when speaking of Dallas include Downtown Dallas and Uptown Dallas. Downtown is known for being trendy, upscale, and for being the location where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Uptown is known for being urban, classy, and providing a bit more public transportation than expected for such a modern town. Both cities are flaunted among various mediums when discussing Dallas, and are constantly booming with activity, no matter what day of the week.

But what if a busy city life isn’t your style? Does that mean Dallas is out of the question? Not at all! Dallas neighborhoods like Bishop Arts District, Casa Linda, Forest Hills, Northwood Hills, and Ridgewood Park are all known for being quiet, comfortable areas just far enough away from the bustling city to make for peaceful suburban living. Dallas Suburb AreaCommunity and safety are at their prime in these locations, making for a convenient area to settle down with the family.

If both busy cities and slow suburbs are not your style, consider one of the quiet but trendy neighborhoods. Hip and funky neighborhoods like West Village, Vickery Place, Little Forest Hills, Lower Greeneville, Greenland Hills (famous of their “M Streets”), Deep Ellum, and Cedars all offer trendy, artsy areas with quaint towns and a slightly slower vibe than the fast-paced city. Each neighborhood has its own quirk, like Little Forest Hills’ campaign to “Keep Little Forest Hills Funky.”

Whether you’re looking for a townhome or mansion, hip nightlife or low traffic, Dallas has got it all, and is sure to please each individual and their specific tastes. With so many different reputational areas in one large city, you can’t go wrong!
